Nursery update for the year

Hello and welcome to our December  blog.

We have been busy updating and improving all our  Channings nurseries since the summer.  Werneth have had a brand new, bigger  bathroom and the upstairs has been modernised and redecorated. The children love the new walk-in kitchen in the Toddler room.  Royton has had the makeover treatment too, including  a new layout  for upstairs with a gorgeous new playhouse. Both Royton and Newhey  have had their hallway and stairs redecorated with lovely colourful flooring on the steps.  Newhey have increased  security in the playground area,  there is now higher fencing and a new gate. Rochdale nursery has expanded into upstairs with the babies moving to their brand new room.  Chadderton Way have the GO stars room upstairs and All Stars room downstairs, our GO (grant only) children are loving their upstairs room.

Our Facebook page is updated every few days, featuring all our lovely children busy with endless fun activities. We have had a few very busy weeks with fundraising. We dressed up  and raised money for Nursery Rhyme Week for Crackerjacks, a charity helping Children with Disabilities and their families. Then came along Pudsey and wearing spotty clothes for Children In Need. All the children looked fabulous in their costumes, thank you to all our parents for such support.

In November our children helped to create  beautiful Remembrance Day displays and were learning about poppies. Now everyone is so busy and so excited with preparations for Christmas. All the Christmas parties are in full swing this week, with Mother Christmas coming for tea and bringing a sack full of goodies for everyone.

We’re offering a uniform for our children now, our little ones look so smart
