Channings Childcare Nursery, Rochdale

Channings Rochdale Nursery is located off Lower Whitworth Road in Rochdale and opened in 2016. Built in 1802, the building was formerly used as the Wardleworth workhouse, then as the Chapel for the Destitute. A large and imposing building, Channings Rochdale is our first nursery to be housed over three floors.

Nursery Location

This nursery is conveniently located behind Dunelm store off Whitworth Road and St Mary’s Gate. It’s just outside the heart of Rochdale, yet off the main road, in a quieter location. Hopwood Hall College, Rochdale Sixth Form College and Rochdale Infirmary are all a few minutes away. It is five minutes from the motorway network – the A627M and the M62.
