Werneth - Nursery News

 

This is the time in the year with much change for us.

Many of our children have now moved onto “big school” we wish them good luck and we hope they will all be very happy as they start their new schools,
We do appreciate hearing how they are getting on once they have left us and are already hearing lots of good reports about them.

We would also like to give a warm welcome to all the new children who will be joining us in the coming months.

The children in the preschool room have been having football training with Gary Lewis.

The children have found these sessions very enjoyable, whilst at the same time learning many new skills including hand eye coordination, balance and numeracy.

Christmas Holidays

Channings Childcare will close at 2pm on the 24th December and reopen on Monday 5th January 2009 at 7.30am.  (There seemed little point in reopening on a Friday!)

Children at Channings Childcare Werneth celebrated their leaving with nursery with superhero/princess party.

Other News

We have now moved into our newly refurbished under 2 Unit. This is our old Baby, Tweenie and Toddler room combined to make one large open play space.

Even though the summer has been wet it hasn’t stopped the children from making the most of our outdoor space and they have enjoyed growing and eating their home grown fruit and vegetables.

There are two new members of staff joining us - staff Jodie and Linda.
