We have been modernising our Werneth nursery since 2003.
The part of the building that was originally the stables for the old Westlands Estate was beyond renovation. After a lot careful consideration we decided to demolish the old toddler room, office and kitchen.
We would like to thank Joanne, the staff, parents and children for putting up with the mess and destruction whilst this work has gone on.

The children in the preschool sent three Christmas parcels to soldiers serving in Afghanistan – Liam’s Uncle Mark, Thomas’ brother Michael and Cordelia’s brother Alan. These were made with generous donations from the parents.
We also made hampers for the elderly residents who live across the road. Some of the children delivered these and sang Christmas Carols. Thank you to all the people who contributed.

Some of the preschool children have been awarded certificates for special achievements; these have included looking after a new child and being extremely helpful.
